Frequently asked questions about careers at PixelMechanics
Which positions are currently open?
The current openings are listed further up this page. If nothing fits, we still welcome a speculative application – we regularly create roles for people who fit the team.
How does the application process work?
Apply by form or email, hear back within a week as a rule, then a video call to get to know each other and a second conversation with a technical part. Rarely more than three weeks in total.
Can I work fully remotely?
Yes. The team works location-independently; the office at Rilkepark in Nuremberg is open to you but not mandatory. What matters is being reachable during shared core hours.
Which technologies do you work with?
Odoo and Python on the ERP side, HubSpot for CRM and marketing, n8n and Airbyte for automation and data integration, PostgreSQL as the database, plus JavaScript on the front end and mobile apps for ERP processes.
Do you also hire graduates and career changers?
Yes. What counts is whether someone wants to understand processes, not how many years are on the CV. Onboarding happens on real projects with a dedicated mentor.
What defines PixelMechanics as an employer?
Small teams, short decision paths and direct customer contact. If you have an idea you implement it instead of carrying it through four layers of management.

Do you offer training and certifications?
Yes. As a HubSpot Gold Partner and Odoo Ready Partner we need certified consultants – the company pays for and schedules those certifications, not you in your spare time.
How does collaboration with the site in India work?
Consulting, architecture and project management sit in Nuremberg; development and testing are shared across both sites. We work in joint sprints with a daily sync in English.
