n8n: Workflow Automation That Runs on Your Premises
n8n connects your systems – ERP, CRM, email, accounting, web shop – and automates the workflows between them. Developed by a Berlin-based company, fully self-hosted on your infrastructure on request: your process data never leaves the building.
Request an automation conversationWhat is n8n?
n8n is a workflow automation platform: it connects over 500 applications and systems and runs workflows automatically – from a simple “new inquiry into the CRM” to a multi-step process with checks, branches, and AI steps. What makes it special for SMEs: n8n comes from a German company based in Berlin and can run entirely on your own infrastructure. That makes it the sovereign alternative to US cloud services like Zapier or Make – and at the same time the technical foundation on which we embed AI agents into your processes.
German company
n8n is developed in Berlin. Contracts, support, and product decisions are subject to European law – one building block of our Europe commitment.
Self-hosting possible
The platform runs entirely on your premises or with a European hosting provider, on request. Access credentials and process data stay under your control.
Ready for AI agents
n8n orchestrates not just classic automations but also AI steps and agent workflows – with approval levels and a complete audit log.
Typical automations from everyday business
Three examples of how n8n workflows save SMEs time right away.
Lead from the website to the CRM
An inquiry comes in, the contact is created in the CRM, assigned to the right sales rep, and confirmed with an initial reply – in seconds instead of the next morning.
Order to shipment
A web shop order is created in the ERP, stock is checked, a shipping label is generated, and the customer is informed – without anyone copying data from A to B.
Incoming invoices to accounting
Incoming invoices are captured, matched against purchase orders, pre-coded, and handed off to accounting – discrepancies automatically land with the right contact person.
Our service: from tool to reliable automation
n8n is powerful – but only cleanly built, documented, and monitored workflows turn it into automation you can rely on. That's exactly our part.
Architecture & Operations
We advise you on choosing between cloud and self-hosting, set up the environment, harden it, and take care of updates, monitoring, and backups.
Workflow development
We analyze your processes, build the workflows with clean error handling and validation steps – and document them so they stay maintainable.
Connecting your systems
ERP, CRM, accounting, machines: we reliably connect n8n to your system landscape – based on clean interfaces instead of fragile workarounds.
Training for your team
Your employees learn to adapt simple workflows themselves. That way you stay independent – including from us. For us, that's part of an honest implementation.
“Automation rarely fails because of the tool, but because of unresolved processes. That's why we clarify the process first – and only then build the workflow that reliably carries it. n8n gives us the freedom to do that on the customer's own premises.”
Which process costs your team the most time?
Tell us about your most cumbersome process – we'll tell you honestly whether and how it can be automated with n8n, and what it costs.

What's the difference between n8n and Zapier or Make?
The decisive difference is data sovereignty: n8n comes from a German company and, on request, runs entirely on your own infrastructure – your process data never leaves the building. Zapier and Make are pure US cloud services, where every workflow step runs through third-party servers. On top of that, n8n is usually significantly cheaper for intensive use, because it's not billed per individual step.
What does n8n cost?
Self-hosted, n8n can be used without license costs (Community Edition); only operating costs apply. The cloud version and enterprise features are paid. We calculate transparently for you which option is the most economical for your volume – including our effort for setup and operation.
Is n8n secure enough for sensitive business data?
Yes – especially in the self-hosted variant, you retain full control: the platform runs in your own data center or with a European hosting provider of your choice, access credentials to your systems stay with you, and we harden the installation to the current state of the art. That's exactly why we added n8n to our stack.
Can our employees adapt workflows themselves?
Yes, that's explicitly the goal: n8n has a visual interface, and we train your team so they can make simple adjustments themselves. We document and version the critical workflows so changes stay controlled and nothing breaks unnoticed.
What does n8n have to do with AI agents?
n8n is one of our tool platforms for agent workflows: it connects the AI models to your systems and ensures clean processes with approval levels and logging. If you're thinking about AI agents, n8n is often the engine room behind them.
How quickly is the first workflow productive?
Simple automations – such as website inquiries into the CRM with notification – go live within a few days. More complex processes with ERP integration and validation steps take two to six weeks, depending on the system landscape. We always start with the workflow that delivers measurable benefit fastest.
Does n8n really run entirely on our infrastructure?
Yes. Self-hosted means, for us: your instance, your server, your data – either in your own data center or with an EU hosting provider. We handle setup, updates, and monitoring; sovereignty stays with you.
What happens if a workflow fails – does anyone notice?
Yes. Every productive workflow gets monitoring and failure notifications: if something aborts, the responsible people are notified and the case lands on a follow-up list – nothing gets silently lost.
Can we migrate from Zapier or Make to n8n?
Yes, that's a standard project: we inventory your existing Zaps and scenarios, rebuild them in n8n, and switch over step by step. Usually the processes end up more robust and cheaper along the way.
Who maintains the workflows long-term?
However you prefer: we train your team so they can make simple adjustments themselves, and we take on maintenance and further development for the critical paths. In practice, a combination of both works best.
