- Water conservation: We prefer tap water over bottled water and offer chilled, sparkling or still water to reduce plastic consumption.
- Efficiency: Long before it became a necessity, we held most of our customer meetings digitally to minimize travel and CO2 emissions.

That keeps data paths short, protects your data under GDPR, and makes your digitalization independent of overseas platforms: ecologically sound, legally secure, and reliable for the long term.

Frequently asked questions about sustainability and responsibility
What does sustainability actually mean for an IT provider?
Three things: software that runs efficiently and does not demand new hardware at every load peak; hosting in Europe with a traceable energy mix; and systems that last ten years instead of being replaced every three.
Where is our data hosted?
In European data centres, GDPR-compliant. For Odoo Online the EU location is fixed; for self-hosting we choose providers whose location and operator are both in the EU.
What does digital sovereignty mean for mid-sized companies?
That, when it matters, you decide about your own data and systems. Concretely: exportable data, open interfaces, an open-source core and no contract that technically ties you to a provider outside the EU.
Does digitalisation really reduce resource consumption?
If it replaces paper, journeys and duplicated work, yes. In waste management and logistics projects, route optimisation and paperless records are the two levers with the largest measurable effect.
What is your position on the energy consumption of AI?
We use AI where it replaces a concrete process, not as an end in itself. Smaller models are enough for most tasks – which saves cost and energy alike.
Do you provide a carbon footprint for a project with you?
We do not offer a certified footprint. We can, however, name the savings that come from journeys, printouts and server capacity that fall away – traceable from your own figures.
What do you mean by ethical commitments?
Fair working conditions at both sites, no projects that go against our convictions, transparent pricing, and not selling customers features they do not need.
Do you work with customers from sensitive industries?
Yes, in the defence industry and waste management among others. We assess every engagement individually and decline if it conflicts with our principles.
What role does open source play in your sustainability strategy?
A big one. Odoo, n8n, PostgreSQL and Airbyte are all open source. That lowers licence cost, makes you more independent and ensures a system lives on without us.
How do I start if sustainability is to be part of my digitalisation?
With a stocktake: which processes still run on paper, where do unnecessary journeys arise, which systems run in parallel. From that we build a sequence that weighs effort against effect.
