From a website to a sales channel
Booking, checkout and paperwork – without manual steps
Problem
SOPRONIS already had a working WordPress site. What it did not have was a way to actually sell training courses, seminars and certification programmes through it. Enquiries came in, and everything after that – confirming a place, producing the paperwork, getting the booking into the CRM – happened by hand.
That is fine at low volume and expensive at scale. Every booking meant someone re-typing data, and every document meant someone building a PDF.
Solution
A booking system on the existing site, wired into HubSpot
Rather than rebuilding the site, we extended it. The existing WordPress installation was given an ordering system for training courses, seminars and professional development – and that system was connected to HubSpot end to end:
- Booking on the site: customers select and book courses directly on the WordPress site.
- Automated connection: AI-supported automation with services such as n8n links the site to HubSpot, so bookings move without manual re-entry.
- Commerce in HubSpot: we configured HubSpot Commerce Hub for the ordering and revenue side, and used Operations Hub for the data flow between the systems.
- Complete checkout: the result is a full checkout process that produces individualised PDF documents automatically.
Result
Bookings that run themselves
A course booking now runs from the website through to the confirmed order and its documents without anyone copying data between systems. The commercial side lives in HubSpot, where it can be reported on, and the site stays what it always was: a WordPress site the team can edit itself.
